Made this on bro’s birthday … i can eat smoked salmon everyday - breakfast, lunch and dinner. yumsss..

i can’t get the succulent taste of the smoked salmon out of my mind. sigh. 

I got massively addicted to Bread and butter pudding after my former workplace treated us to this dessert during our farewell.

A month ago, i was still telling Saleem that I needed bread and butter pudding to treat my depression.

So on a very very very random whim, i decided to make the dish today (since the ingredients have been sitting in my fridge for VERY LONG)..

I ate half of it up. And the vanilla custard… it’s to die for. If you like condensed milk, you will love this.. because… it tastes not as sweet, has a vanilla twist to it and is absolutely LOVELY with the pudding.

This one is going onto my Christmas dinner recipe plans.

 

so i’m back … decided that i’m vain enough to put up my photos. Will spare you guys of too much of eyesore though. so i’m only putting 2 photos here. with links to some of the stuff that i’m wearing. (as most people know i’m a heavy online shopper). I basically got into this get-up after being bored in the afternoon.

Yup. that’s it. 

was feeling bored and crazily moody whilst on the way to meet the Ho the other day.

Took a couple of pictures along the way.. and i’ve just lazily edited them as well. Just realised that i need to install my stash of fonts located on my portable hard-drive. so not fun.

Sigh.

As much as i love photoscape, i can’t help noticing the vast difference my photos look on photoscape prior to publishing online … it just looks so much grain-ier and of lower quality when i upload them eventually. oh wells.

i wanted to do a lookbook #1 on this.. wait till i feel vain enough to upload the photos on my camera to show you what i was wearing.

Till then. 

I have somewhat made up my mind to ‘reboot’ this blog. Meaning.. I’ll be doing more stuff here. And will try to update AS OFTEN AS I CAN.

It’ll be more like my own scrapbook. on what inspires me… things i’ve read or things i’ve bought.. and little inserts of life i guess.

it’ll be a little bit more ‘open’. good grief. i think if i continue describing what i have in mind, i will eventually sound like Ris Low.

But anyway. i hope this time round, things work out.

It’s been some years since I’ve thrown a Christmas dinner.

I still don’t feel fit enough to throw a Christmas dinner this year.. BUT that doesn’t stop me from dreaming of one. Especially with recipes that seem that good - can’t wait to get started on the following (see pictures later). But procrastination is such a huge enemy! I haven’t even started on the bread pudding that i’ve been DYING to have. ha. Managed to squeeze in the egg benedict with salmon cos it was the big man’s birthday… and it made me realise that I can eat smoked salmon for breakfast, lunch AND dinner. Yums.

Neways. i hope this Christmas will be good! i’ve had enough heartbreaks for some Christmas-es! Till then!

It’s not easy to restart blogging with a computer that’s lagging every possible seconds. ARGH.

But I shall try (… it’ been half a minute and my computer is STILL trying to load that little plugin on blogsome.com… sigh)

Anyway, I’m here to share 2 happy thoughts! Hopefully amidst all the running around the place in the next couple of weeks, i get the time to make:

I’m going to make my eggs benedict with SALMON AND LOADS OF MUSHROOMS (i think i can finish a plateful of mushroom by myself!! i’m a mushroom fan!) 

AND AND AND… I’m going to makeeeeeeeee… the following:

i can’t wait. to add on the calories. (i wish.) *drool*

Been wanting to do something new to this blog.

Have a couple of projects in my head right now. I’m too lazy to start a new blog on them so everything’s going to come here.

the only problem is that i’ll have problems blogging about them cos my computer is getting really old and i’m still saving up for the tokyo trips.

Just some quick sharing about what’s to come:

1. Halloween party?! (this is unconfirmed)

2. Xmas party (getting ready all the recipes and going to try them out in the next couple of weeks. i’m excited. haven’t decided on guest list. may be if you’re nice to me, i’ll invite you. )

3. All things about Japan! have a little project cos i’m planning tokyo 2010 trip. so i’m going to be picking up some fragments of Japanese from a course. The plan right now is to blog about this experience of finding more about Japan and blog about all of it here. it’s going to be interesting. i can’t wait.

so hopefully. these won’t be empty plans. and hopefully the computer lives up to expectations!

Today is such an insanely happy day that I think I could do one and a million tweets and it wouldn’t be enough.
